In Adobe DreamWeaver, Does One Use a Template or a Server-Side Includes?
Do yourself a favor and take my advice. I'm speaking from the experience of having managed projects of 22,000+ page websites based on templates. DO NOT use Dreamweaver templates! They will make your life a nightmare if you ever need to scale. Templates are good for newbies or small, simple websites but will turn into a major problem if you ever need to get professional with web development. Even if you plan on starting off small, you may eventually want to scale and if you build sites around templates will need to later re-code hundreds or thousands of pages to break them out of templates and into SSI. There is nothing more beautiful than updating a footer across an entire 10,000 page website with nothing more than a single file upload.

Which tools are better? SEOMoz Tools or Bruce Clay's Tools.
Ive used both Bruce Clay and SeoMoz toolsets. The one thing I really liked about Bruce Clays tools is that I can punch in a url and get a full analysis report within minutes. Seomoz takes a week. That's a major drawback in my opinion.Seomoz has a great q and a forum so thats a major plus.

No-follow tags on links in the footer...do it or don't do it?
This is more a question than discussion. If you no-follow on the footer, than that will be for the entire site (same footer on all pages, which means all footer links on all pages are no-follow), which is probably not desired. Can you code to not show the footer links, or reduced links on those pages? Footer links should not be your site map on the bottom of each page, but rather, a list of key resource pages such as contact, company, high level product categories, FAQ, sign up for email, social networking links, etc. If you want more details, please provide a link.
