Has any on else experienced a spike in crawl errors?
Thanks for all your replies. We haven't changed anything on any of the sites. We use our own CMS which has not changed either. Webmaster tools doesn't show the same errors as SEOMoz. We appear to be in the same situation as Mike. We know that we have duplicate titles and content but we have taken care of our duplicate issues using canonical and no index tags, which drastically reduced our errors. For some reason SEOmoz doesn't seem to have paid heed to them on it's latest crawl. Thanks Mike. At least we are not on our own. Maybe I should see if this is rectified after the next SEOMoz crawl before I pursue this any further?

How do I know what links are bad enough for the Google disavow tool?
This is another tricky situation. I think the message you have received is not about Penalty, it is just a precautionary message send to you just to inform that the link profile does not look natural and needs some pruning. What I believe is that if the links not coming from low quality link pages, directories, forums, web 2.0 sites etc [I am assuming that they are at one point built by an SEO company], you need to get rid of them. _Take it as precautionary measure because your link profile has already raised the flag of spam and therefore, it is your duty to clean it. It is better safe than sorry. And Losing one or two keyword rank is far better than losing all the visibility altogether. _

Should I add my press releases to my own website?
I would not recommend you to add any PR to your website after submitting it somewhere else. From other side if you have your own blog on your website and it is linked with Google+ (I mean authorship) profile it may give you some benefits. Cheers, Russel

Does Google follow links inside a <noscript>tag?</noscript>
Hi there, Google is getting better at crawling Javascript and pulling URLs out, so there's a fair chance it will count anyway. Links in the <noscript>tag are crawled, but make sure that the noscript content is well-suited for a user with Javascript disabled. Do not turn it into a list of links :)</p></noscript>
