Tools to bulk compress images?

Hi, i have a large number of images (1000) to upload to a site.

I want to get them under 100kb for site speed and SEO purposes without losing much quality.

Can anyone recommend any tools to do this?

Are you using Wordpress? In this case I would suggest the Wordpress plugin SMUSH: https://de.wordpress.org/plugins/wp-smushit/

It can compress the images during upload or take care of the ones already there and that you are already using, i.e. already in your Media tab.

I personally like to use the service of Kraken.io. Check their pricing, but I'd say it is a low cost and efficient way to handle the images.

We have been using it with their magento extension. But they also have a plugin for Wordpress. (https://kraken.io/plugins)

I know, it is not the only solution, but it worked well for me
