I checked my site links and top pages by page authority. What i have found i dont understand, because the first 5-10 pages did not exist!! Should know that we launched a new site and rebuilt the static pages so there are a lot of new pages, and of course we deleted some old ones. I refreshed the sitemap.xml (these pages are not in there) and upload it in GWT.

Why those old pages appear under the links menu at top pages by page authority?? How can i get rid off them?

      thx,

      Endre

Hi Endre! Would you be able to share the URL for your site and/or a screenshot of what you're seeing? That'd make it easier for folks to see what might be going on. 🙂

          Hi Matt!

thx, for your help. Attached a screenshot, and underlined those pages which doesnt exist anymore (since 3 months). Checked again the sitemap.xml and these pages are not in.  What did i miss here?

          thx,

          Endre

            Hi Endre

Sorry for any confusion. Our index can show you data cached for up to 190 days. These are links that we followed at least over 6 months ago. They will fall out of our index with the next couple of updates.

            Hope this helps
