Moving an old CMS to Wordpress

Hi all, does anyone know the best way to move an old CMS with a lot of content over to wordpress.

The old CMS does not have the ability to create a csv file. Are there tools that one can use to pull the html pages in to wordpress. There is a wordpress html input plugin that i have testes and seams to work...but it is still a long process.

Absolutely CMS to CMS is a good tool. You can always use deep crawl for screaming frog to index this sight then export it as and CSV filemember you can do the same thing with anything that the fees. & XML feed

Thomas, thank you so much for your answer. I have taken a look at CMS 2 CMS and it may just work, although my current cms is not supported.. i am testing it out right now.

With the S frog, will i be able to clean up the file before submiting it to wordpress

yes you should be able to get the the most important information depending on how complex your website is I don't want to tell you you can use a CSV every time but many times you can.

Screaming frog or deep crawl our excellent tools in which to do this.

Can I ask you are you trying to replicate your site?

you can migrate the content very easily depending on your CMS in fact if you post the CMS that would be helpful.

I would talk to getflywheel.com either as your hosting company or tell them your CMS and ask them what it would take to have them migrate your site. I know that they are excellent when it comes to migrating from any platform.

you can also check out a service like

they are able to migrate to web synthesis and WP engine both excellent web hosting companies you will have to have a hosted version of WordPress up and running before migrating.

the reason I bring these guys up is they go outside of regular migrations and this could be of help to you.
