Going mobile: Responsive or different mobile version?
Which one should we choose? Should we do responsive design or should we have a different mobile version and go m.domain.com ?

      http://searchenginewatch.com/sew/how-to/2253965/3-reasons-why-responsive-web-design-is-the-best-option-for-your-mobile-seo-strategy

I just read this article. It seems that the responsive design is OK, but the first comment kills that opinion and says that it is pretty hard to make it OK. 🙂

So I need more opinions? What is best for people and for SEO?

I would always recommend a mobile responsive website and we do the same for all our clients. This method is also recommended by Google and have said on record that it is industry best practice to have this.

A separate mobile website means Google will have more difficulty in crawling it as their are 2 versions of the same website.

Two sites would also require two separate SEO strategy's, managing and optimizing one site is much easier.

        Go with responsive!

          Agreed. Responsive all the way!

          1. Less work to manage
          2. Cheaper to manage
          3. Better SEO strategy

Hi, I agree with The Zen Agency and SEOwoody, responsive is the best way to go. Maybe it take some more time to set it all up, but the advantage you'll have when it's done and also, manage afterwards of one website is worth much more.

            Goodluck! Leonie
