Re targeting and Marketing Of Sensitive products (Adult eCommerce)

Hi,

I have recently taken on a role for a adult eCommerce site in order to help them grow there sales.

Having worked in mainstream digital marketing I am comfortable with the normal methods of promoting the site but am really struggling as many of the options i would normally use are not allowed because of the nature of the product.

Can anyone point me in the direction of any good resource on the subject?

I am looking to do some re-targeting/re-marketing can anyone recommend a company which allow me to promote this product?

Any help around the subject would be greatly appreciated

I had managed a similar project back in 2005 (London Escorts), at that time search engines were not that strict, but it was still very difficult to promote such website

Then, I started searching for blogs/ websites/ forums which discuss or write about such sensitive topics. Now, there are a plenty of such websites (video sites, forums, blogs, etc.) which can allow you to promote your products there but the advertising cost can be bit high as they're aware that no search engine would allow them to advertise.

You can start preparing a list of such blogs/sites/forums/ dating sites and negotiate the advertising cost for static banners, expendable banners, video ads, text links (I won't recommend text links).

Also, start sharing the informative posts via blogs, guest blogging, forum discussions, etc. (this will cost a lot of efforts)

I am really looking finding a network that can help with retargeting, shopping cart abandonment etc. Any other ideas?
