Your title tag shows TV Megavideo as your page title, while Google shows top30tvshows. Did you recently change your title tag? If so, Google will update their information when they next crawl your site. Did you ping Google with a new site map so they know your page changed?

Google reserves the right to change your title if they feel another title would be better.

There are two things you can do to help Google use your title. First, crawl your site and ensure you are not using the same title on multiple pages. If Google finds the same title repeatedly used, that sends a signal that the title may not be the best fit for a given page.

You can also be sure the page title is used on the page, ideally close to the top of the page in bold or header tags.

Google is changing lots of my title tags too.

They sometimes grab the category name and use it as a title tag, slapping my domain after it.   Of they use an exact match of the query and my domain.

They are also changing the title tag of my Adwords.

Sometimes the domain name is duplicated - once in all lower case once with uppercase first letter.  I think that makes my business look ignorant in the SERPs.

I don't know why they are doing that.  I would rather have them use my carefully-crafted titles.  However, they must be showing something that they feel will perform better with the searcher.

Bottom line.  I am not worried about it.

I doubt it.  All of my title tags are about 60 characters.

Google is a mystery on some things.

I would tell the client that google is running their website as they see fit.

In an earlier reply I shared two steps you can take that MAY help resolve this issue.

As EGOL shared, it's Google's website and they can do as they deem best. With that understood, by understanding how Google works we can help them meet our needs by making a few logical adjustments to our site.
