Blog indexing in Wordpress

Hi Armin666,
I don't think it's a big deal as far as SEO goes but it's confusing to users and it will make it harder for you to track your most popular content. You'll have the same content tracked differently depending on which dynamic page users happen to land on. I suggest checking out a plugin to suppress that behavior or limit it. YOAST has some pretty good wordpress specific SEO suggestions.
Best of Luck,

Hi Armin,
I would agree with Nick on this ,definitely install the Yoast plugin. But what it will do by default is exclude the tag pages from being crawled by Google. I often also like to see Google not be able to crawl the tag pages as they're mostly low quality pages you both don't want users or a search engine to look at. But this is mostly in case with big sites with hundreds of tags.

Hi Martijn,
Many thanks for your comment. But if tag pages are not good to be seen by users or crawled by Google, then what is the use of them?

In some cases they can definitely be useful, mostly to see an overview of posts around a certain subject. However some blogs already use categories to do this. That's also the reason for most people to block via robots.txt your tag pages as they make sure you don't have any duplicate pages between the same category as tag pages.
