Joomla duplicate content

My website report says

http://www.enigmacrea.com/diseno-grafico-portafolio-publicidad

and

http://www.enigmacrea.com/diseno-grafico-portafolio-publicidad?limitstart=0

Has the same content so I have duplicate pages

the only problem is the ?limitstart=0

How can I fix this?

You need to look at the referring page, find the link and you'll have an idea where to fix it. Most likely the template you are using has this built in, it could be breadcrumbs or pagination, and you might need to edit the template to fix it.

In fact it is you pagination look at the url for page 1 on any of your pages other than page 1 such as http://www.enigmacrea.com/diseno-grafico-portafolio-publicidad?start=6 it links back to not http://www.enigmacrea.com/diseno-grafico-portafolio-publicidad but http://www.enigmacrea.com/diseno-grafico-portafolio-publicidad?limitstart=0

I've seen this in joomla sites and you might need to get a web developer or find a fix for it. If it's not joomla you still might need to find a fix or a web developer who will amend your template code.

Hi, the problem could be with your sh404sef component if you are using one. It sounds to me that if you have one that you have not updated it. I had the same problem and found that it was down to the sh404sef component, i was using an old one.

Try it out and let me know if the updated one works for you

I am using the latest version of sh404sef (4.4) and I am still getting a duplicate content issue.

What about using URL parameters in GWT to fix this?   If so, what settings do I use?

I see 1,035 urls monitored for "start" on my website.

Should I set the URL parameter to "Representative URL"?
