Keyword Rich Domain Redirects to Brand Name But How Will SEO Work For It?

If i have a keyword rich domain name, but i redirect it to a brand domain name, will doing seo for the keyword rich domain name be effective in showing up on google under that domain, for the keyword i do SEO for?

or does this cause a conflict for spiders/robots as soon as they realize the page they want to check out is getting redirected to another domain name?

If you redirect the keyword domain to a branded domain, they keyword domain won't show up in SERPs after googles worked it all out.

Make the keyword rich domain an information site. Build traffic for that and link-to/reference your brand site.

Agree with @Daniel  - G has also lowered the value passed by such 301s. Once had a client who had 50+ redirected sites to his main site, I had to tell him to stop!

what about all the domains registered under the same account, so the same whois info. Just wondering how that will play out if I build 5 or so of these sites?
