Hello Eddie,

        I would recommend these things:

        1. Check the HTML structure: if
are corresponding to what the specific page is about, and if contain keywords; if has just one
per page, and talking about the subject of the page. You could use some
or even
's if the pages needs so.

2) Input a good descriptive text at the Homepage about the business with some keywords in it. You can use two, three or even four repetitions of each one, if the text is big, but use the good sense. You don't want to look like stuffing.

3) Check if the site has a sitemap.xml. If not, create one for free here: http://www.xml-sitemaps.com/

4) Create a SEO friendly URL, like: http://www.yoursite.com/category/sub-category

5) Use some rel="nofollow" on those links that are not strictly necessary for your business.

6) Input some descriptive text in
, and this one is for every page or product. You must judge where you need them. Maybe one per category, or per product.

7) Now going to Linkbuilding: Use the marvelous SEOMoz Open Site Explorer, and check where your competitors have the more important links, and try to get some of them. It's an easy and fast way to have some potential links.

So, some structural changes, and run for some competitors links (they always have something to teach you!).

Just making these basic SEO technics can help a lot your clients. At least they can see a lot of job being done, and sometimes this is necessary for them to check that they are not paying for nothing.

Hope it helps! =]

          1. Ensure the content is good quality, and ensure it contains some original and useful stuff

          2. Promote the content on the basis that it's good quality and it will hopefully gain links, shares, etc... naturally

          3. Link build with anchor text to relevant pages from relevant pages on relevant sites, but don't over-do it with the anchor text, only a percentage of it should be keyworded.

          4. Diversify with your link building, so get links from different types of sites such as blogs, forums, directories, articles, social media platforms, and do a bit of bookmarking too.

          5. Start looking on blogs, etc... and on here about how social signals are seemingly becoming more and more important, and think about how you will begin to work that fact into your future strategies.

          🙂
