404 errors

Im experiencing a different problem. I created a website using wordpress "www.xxxxx.com". When I publish any post (eg:"www.xxxxxx.com/abc/"), along with the post, its also creating another page like "www.xxxxxx.com/abc/www.xxxxx.com" which is a 404 error (showing in SEOmoz reports)

automatically the website name is coming at the end (one at first and one at last) and creating a 404 error. Please let me know the reason why its happening and the solution for redirecting all 404 and misspelt pages to home page.

Are you using a third party SEO plugin? Or are you using Permalinks - if permalinks try using /%postname%/ under custom permalink.

Please advise us of your findings and give us some details of the history of the problem. Is this a new site? Have you moved it recently? Added new plugin? Upgraded anything?

Im not using any party SEO plugin and Im already using custom permalink what you told..

Let me explain one thing clearly...

After i write every post, i dont want anyone to comment. so I removed this code rom some files

is this affecting really..? im not that good in coding

If you want to disable comments you can do that in the discussion settings. There is no need to mess with any code.

Check out Yoast SEO plugin for canonicalization in Wordpress. That'll make sure all of your SEO is going to one page. Wordpress notoriously duplicates pages when you use categories.

I'm not sure where your 404 error is coming from, but I do know that when you play with the code in wordpress you can mess things up easily if you don't know exactly what you're doing. It's happened to me on more than one occasion

now I have reset all files. But this is not all. In future I may get this again.

How do I redirect all 404 error pages to my home page?
