Proper Usage of the Change of Address Tool in Google Search Console After a Migration

Hello,

We recently moved our domain to be used as a landing page for a bigger site. All of the redirects have been put in place; with the domain pointing to the appropriate landing page on the new site.

Our question is when we use the ‘change of address tool’ in Google Search Console would we indicate that the destination is that landing page or use the whole domain or would it not make a difference.

Any help or insight would be very appreciated.
