Are Monthly-Run custom reports supposed to compare against the previous month?

When I run monthly reports, it looks like keywords are down, when they are actually up compared to the previous month.  Is there a way to get the monthly reports to show how many positions up or down a keyword is compared to the prior run report?

The discrepancies you're  seeing may be due to the  way you have the report set up, if it's a  custom report - could you please pop us an email at help@moz.com, along with screenshots of the sections of the report you're looking at?  Happy to take a look for you!

We have our reports set to run Monthly, but some of the stats show compared to the previous WEEK. Shouldn't they all show the previous month? Is there a way to set that up?
