Utilizing CDN & Impact on SEO Results

I couldn't find any recent discussions around this topic.

We recently signed up for a CDN and WAF through a company called, StackPath. Our main purpose was to protect our WordPress files on our server. StackPath suggested to point the A Record of our server at their IP address. I looked up the IP and it is located in Dallas, TX. All of our customers are US based. This way all website traffic to go through them first before reaching our server.

Is there any reason that this would impact our SEO results or indexing with Google? Has anyone experienced SEO impacts from using a CDN such as StackPath, CloudFlare or SiteLock? Our primary goal is security, but clearly we want good results for our clients including SEO, site speed & security.

I have been using MaxCDN (now part of stackpath) for some time now, Initially we utilised it to help serve images quicker and in parralel with our sites files, then to server https files also. The speed increase has been the main help from an SEO perspective, which has in turn offered a slight ranking boost. Our CDN also server via HTTP2 which also provides another boost of speed.

It is not only better for seo but also conversions and user experience, as both mobile and desktop users are no longer hanging waiting for load bloating elements.
