      Hi Mozzers,

Is anybody aware of any APIs or integrations that would automatically increase ad spend (in Adwords) when the number of calls coming through to a call centre are low?

      Thanks!

Hello, that's an interesting question. As far as I'm aware there is not a way to directly link an API with your Google AdWords to accomplish what you're suggesting. It would likely require custom programming.

As an alternative, I would recommend that you review your incoming call analytics logs to see what time of day you're receiving the least calls. Hopefully you can find a pattern and then you can setup custom ad scheduling to increase bids on certain days and times. More info here: https://support.google.com/adwords/answer/2404244

        Hope this helps.

If you know what time of which days are typically low, then you can set automated rules within the AdWords interface to boost bids and spend. You'll want to look at time of day reports and analyze trends to make sure your actions line up with substantiated data. Like Nick mentioned, set up custom ad scheduling to help boost spend in slow times.

Either way, there will be a level of manual intervention here. I don't think there's any API that could do this for you. It's possible to create a script which could run if you set a trigger... maybe. It might be easy enough to set up custom rules and have someone enable it when calls are lower.
