Looking for SEO-friendly non-Wordpress CMS for static html site

I am a non-technical person and have an 85-page static xhml site which I would love to be able to edit and update myself but cannot because the site does not have a CMS.  .

Because I’m afraid of hackers and as a one-person operation cannot keep up with Wordpress updates, I would appreciate your recommending some viable non-Wordpress options that would allow me to continue to increase my site’s SEO rankings without jeopardizing security while having adding a www.domain.com/blog to my existing domain and the ability to add and modify content on my own.

I’m especially interested in the opinions of those who are using some SEO-friendly CMSs for html sites. Do we have any satisfied users of bowtie.io, Cloudcannon.com, other non-Wordpress CMS here?

Have you considered using Medium? I am looking at it for an old site that I want to keep going but can't be bothered with the hassle of WP upkeep. I know you can import page by page but not sure if you could wholesale import an old WP. In the same vein, Tumblr is also an option.

For both you could set up or transfer your own domain and play with the styling so it is not obviously a Medium/Tumblr site.

Whilst you would lose some flexibility of total control, you'll also kiss goodbye to regular updates and more
