Keyword ranking in google but not in MOZ
-
Good day,
When I type my keyword in google, the website related to this keyword appears on page 1 (7th link from the top).
However in Moz report, the keyword position is #13. I don't understand why.
Can someone explain the reason?
Thank you,

When you check manually there is chance to use personalized results. Example - let mine site ranking for "web designer tips" on 10th position. I start searching and clicking and i can get on 1st position within some time. Because Google knows that i'm looking for "web designer tips" and i often click on this site. That's why this site will be boosted for mine results. But this doesn't mean that other users will get same. That's why on search console they return "average position".
There are few ways to escape "personalization". First (and free!) is to use browser "private tab" where you can see non-personalized and anonymous results. Second is Moz. There are also many "keyword trackers" - SemRush, Advanced Web Ranking, Serp.watch, etc. But most important is SearchConsole. Because SC is only way to extract valid data from Google about your site.

Personalized results would be my guess, too. Moz Analytics defaults to national rankings, so it won't take things like your location and search history into account.
