Soon we will do a website migration .com.br to .com/pt-br. Wi will do this migration when we have with lower traffic. Trying to follow Google Guidelines, applying the 301 redirect, sitemap etc...

I would like to know, how long time the Google generally will use to transfering the relevance of .com.br to .com/pt-br/ using redirect 301?

Generally, redirects should be *instantaneous (depending on how you do it, this can take a short while). However, the permanence of this takes, I'd wager, about 1-2 months. A redirect tells search engines that when a user goes to a page on your site, like www.example.com/old, you (the webmaster) would like the user to be redirected to www.example.com/new. After time, search engines will eventually do this automatically. The presumption, however, is that this is intended to be a permanent fixture. So you'll need to ensure that the old url is essentially phased out of existence.

To answer your direct question, if by "relevance" you mean the rank, quality score, etc. - this is done is as much time (again, with varying experience). However, be aware that the link juice passed from domain A to domain B will often be a little lost.

You can speed up this move with using "Site move" tool in SearchConsole:
          https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/83106?hl=en

With this Google will update for few days relevance to new domain. You shouldn't rely only on 301 redirect because this mean that all your site must be re-crawled for effect.

            Right! Thanks Bryan.

Still about the relevance. We'll do the redirect 301 of a domain to other domain in a directory.

            Ex.: .com.br >> 301 >> .com/pt-br

Maybe Google can consider that this page (.com/pt-br) by any chance could be not more interesting? And the website return with a bad posicção?

Is there any problem about that?

301 can take weeks or months dependent how large is your website. With site move this happen for days. And site move have "undo" function.

Peter, many people usually to say that the 301 doesn't pass 100 % of relevance, and a migration like this, we could lost positions.

My opnion about it, to do the redirect 301 of [Page A] to [Page B], the [Page B] needs to be as optimized so [Page A] to receive the relevance of [Page A]. If on the contrary, we'll lose positions.

What do you think abou that?

I think that this one is best:
                    https://moz.com/ugc/accidental-seo-tests-how-301-redirects-are-likely-impacting-your-brand
(i can describe same, but this is article with diagrams and lot explanation).

Also think about this let we have two pages - PageA about Coca Cola and PageB about Pepsi Cola. Let both pages have content optimized for them and have ranking. If we 301 PageA to PageB do you think that PageB will getting same positions about "Coca Cola"? That's right - will be lost positions because content is different.

Of course there is special case when you get ranking for some keywords with anchors even if such content doesn't exist:
                    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Google_bomb

That's why when wise people talk for about "over 200 ranking factors" they're damn right!
