Need a good Marketing CRM? - Suggestions please (and thank you!)

I realise in some ways this may be a little out the scope of this forum but thought I'd throw it out just in case there's any suggestions floating around.

We need a good marketing CRM system with contact and lead scoring that doesn't cost ridiculous money.

Initially when we put a contact into our system it only has very basic information (sometimes only an email address), furthermore not even a lead at that stage. Hence the need for contact scoring opposed to lead scoring. We need to be able to build information on that customer up over time.

Most CRM systems will only start scoring when there's a lead with a quote or a tangible price that can be calculated and therefore scored.

Honestly, I think since marketing needs and, therefore, conversion points are different for every company, you probably would be best with custom solution. That's what we did. It's quite easy to create simple CRM, which would tell you exactly what you need. Plus over time you can improve/change it. I believe ours took about 3 days of work. If you have in-office developers - it will cost you a fraction of any on-market solution. At the same time custom solution wouldn't have any extra stuff you don't need (which you gonna be paying for).

Other than that, I heard Adometry by Google is good. But i never used it.
