Way to track public's use of keywords over time in MOZ?
-
I apologize for the basic question but is there a way to track within MOZ the public's use of my keywords over time? My traffic understandably goes down certain times of the year -- holidays, vacation season, back to school, etc. What I want to see is whether my share of the traffic available is staying steady, slipping or even increasing. Sometimes I'll see a big spike in traffic that I suspect is related more to a general increase in traffic in my keywords than anything else.
Thanks for any help.

I think the closest you're going to get to that Kevin, is using Google Trends and/or Google Planner. Both show keyword demand over time.
Then you could apply Moz's new visibility score to see if your market share is increasing, decreasing or staying even. I don't think the individual results will be terribly accurate, but at least you might be able to detect relative differences and trends.

I'm afraid that we don't really have a way to display that kind of info right about now, since Google doesn't share all of their search volume data anymore. It would definitely be a cool feature if we had access to the data though! Perhaps someone else has a suggestion for where you could find some comparable info to what you're after
