      Hi,

Does anyone know if there is a way that I can segment traffic coming from my Google mybusiness listing from my organic traffic?

I saw this post from a few years ago, but I'm not sure if this is still works (since so much time has passed). Any insight will be greatly appreciated.

        Hey There!

I'm not aware of anything more recent or of higher quality than Ed Reese's piece at LocalU - which you've already found 🙂 In fact, I recently asked around among some Local colleagues if the knew of anything newer or better, and it seems to me like most folks are still using the tips in Ed's post. So, you should be good to go with that. It would be nice to see bloggers writing more about this. There just isn't a ton of info out there about this topic.

I'm not sure there is a way to segment it because it is Organic Traffic and I don't believe that there is any identifying characteristic in Analytics, although I would love for someone to find one. While you may not be able to glean data from Analytics, you can at least use the Google My Business Insights Visibility report to find out how often your local listings are showing and what kind of actions are being taken. It's not ideal, but something is better than nothing.
