On Brand Queries Google does not shows my home page first instead of it shows internal pages.

Also on my brand query it doesn't shows sitelinks. What may be the reason?

Try to get more brand mentions/brand related links.
Be sure the navigation and html is optimised.
That usually solves the sitelinks part.
As for the internal page showing, from my experience, it would usually show the homepage (right below it) if it's showing the innerpage already. Since it's not, then I would look at the html, maybe there are some errors. Maybe take a look at the backlinks, too, if you have gotten a lot of links only recently. I've seen this happen before when a client got a lot of links pointing to their homepage within a short span of time. It's rare but it does happen.
There are other reasons but those are the more common ones.

Hi there,
Is there a discrepancy between the number of inbound links to internal pages versus the home page when you look at the site's backlink profile via Open Site Explorer?
Any way we could look at the site? Feel free to PM me the URL if you do not want to share it publicly.
Cheers,
Jane

Hi All
Thanks for the help.
I didnt do anything and google again started ranking my home page on no.1 for my brand queries.
Its good but will love to understand why google does this? was it refreshing its index ?

Google just rolled out a big Panda update and a couple of smaller updates besides, so there's a possibility that this was just a glitch. We generally say that if you see something bizarre happen around big updates, wait it out a few days and see if things go back to normal. If you don't see this happen again, I'd but it down to a fluke...
