Sitemap for Mobile Version of Site

Hi,

I just did a mobile version (http://m.vietnamvisacorp.com) of my site (http://www.vietnamvisacorp.com). And was looking for some guidance on where to put it in the sitemap. Do i need an entirely new sitemap for mobile site, or do i just add to my existing .xml of desktop site.

In my opinion the sitemap for the mobile website should be submitted on Google Webmaster tool and it is better to have a separate version of xml sitemap for mobile websites so that Google can crawl it easily!

Hi John,

You will need a entirely new sitemap for your mobile site. I would recommend also verifiying you mobile site in Google Webmaster Tools to make sure you can track all your data in there. This will also make it easier to verify and submit your sitemap within this profile. I would myself not prefer to have the mobile sitemap in my normal site account because these two are separate things.
