      Hello Team,

I just want to know - is there any MOZ DA algorithm update frequency because we have not seen any  movement in DA on website from last few months.

        Hi there,

To the best of my knowledge, the DA metric is being updated quite often, but it depends on the number of factors.

        For example:

Are you getting do-follow links or no-follow links?

How many links are acquiring on monthly basis?

Did those links get index by Moz?

I know that 301 redirect to your money site might help you to bring your DA up fast, but the domain has to be very relevant and you need to know what are you doing.

        Ross

            Hi there,

Domain Authority (DA) - Domain Authority is a Moz proprietary metric from 1-100 which predicts how well a domain will rank in Google based on a machine learning algorithm of link metrics.

Page Authority (PA) - Page Authority is a Moz proprietary metric from 1-100 which predicts how well a page will rank in Google based on a machine learning algorithm of link metrics.

It is entirely possible to have a higher PA than DA as there can be plenty of pages within a site that have a high PA but the domain itself can have a lower calculated DA.

You can find more information here: https://moz.com/learn/seo/page-authority
            and here: https://moz.com/learn/seo/domain-authority

            We hope that helps!
