How can I change the day for the weekly site crawl?

Currently, our site is crawled every Monday but I want to switch it to Wednesday night.

Crawled by or on what? MOZ? Google? Please be more specific.

Hi - Thanks for posting.

If you are referring to Site Crawl in a campaign, I'm afraid this cannot be changed. Campaigns update on the day you create the campaign. The only real workaround is if you want your campaign to update on Wednesday, you can recreate the campaign on a Wednesday. We do have a feature request ticket into our product team to possibly implement something like this in the future, but we cannot guarantee a timeframe for that right now.

The only reason i can think of to switch a crawl day or time is perhaps of a higher load on a server, but that in 2020 shoud'nt cause any issues at all now..

No you can't change the day for the weekly site crawl. Bots can be crawl at any time. We can't stop them or change them their time of crawling. By the way, how we  can find that on which day bots crawl on our site. Like my site is Best Office Chairs, then how do i know that on which day crawling occurs on my site.

My website was also facing the same issue but you can try updating the content like I've done on my website best chair review and it worked. You can also submit the google sitemap again to see the effect.
