Youtube name limitation

Hi guys,

I am trying to edit the name of my Youtube channel which I can but it forces me to choose between 3 options. None of these options are good enough. My question is how can I customize it the way I want it to be instead of selecting from options I don't want?

If it is possible please let know how to

Hi there,

I'm not 100% sure on this but my guess would be that whatever you're trying to name your channel has already been taken by another channel. I did some digging and it looks like if there is another channel with the same name that has a following YouTube won't let you choose it.

Perhaps try searching for the channel name you want and see if it's taken?
