How to rank videos in YouTube higher

I have a question regarding the ranking of YouTube videos. What are the ranking factors and how we can use them in our favor to rank our videos higher in search results within YouTube.

Hi Sakshamk,

Youtube videos rank based on keywords in the Title & description, along with tags. My best advice is to provide plenty of detail about the video in the description and even include a transcript. Then assign plenty of relevant tags.

There are many ranking factors for YouTube videos. You should always optimize your video's metadata with proper titles, tags etc. and try to make longer videos and number of shares of videos is also a ranking factor now.
