      Hello Fellow Moz Friends

I have recently went from http to https for the website.

Do I keep my canonicals at http or make all https?

      Will this affect ranking signals?

Anything I should be looking out for?

      Thank you.

hi - you will want to make sure all your canonicals are updated to https as these are now the master copy of the page. Check out this migration article from http to https guide from search engine land - https://www.google.co.uk/amp/searchengineland.com/http-https-seos-guide-securing-website-246940/amp

        Hope this helps 🙂

Do I keep my canonicals at http** or make all https?**

Agree with Matt. All canonicals should be updated to https.

          Will this affect ranking signals?

Shouldn't, if you've done everything right. You might even see a small boost.

Anything I should be looking out for?

I just recommend scanning your site when you're all done to make sure all internal URLs are https and there are no 404 errors.

            • We are redirecting http and non www versions of our website. Should all versions http (non www version and www version) and https (non www version) should just have 1 redirect to the https www version?
