Brand Video on homepage

Hope I'm not resurfacing this question. I don't mean about unrelated video. I wonder how much a brand video will entice the website visitors on homepage or any other landing page? And does Google consider it as a ranking factor?

Hi,

Chances are, a brand video won't do anything for your SEO as such, but it could help with brand visibility and explaining more about what you do.

It is highly unlikely that in adding this, you will entice any new visitors, but if it does help explain a service or product, then it can help with those already on the page.

Don't have it auto start though and be careful that however you embed it so it doesn't slow the page loading down.
