Spam links with high DA

I'm running through the spam analysis and noticed a few links that are considered to be 9+ on the spam score (high spam level), but some of them have DA of 60 -75. How can this be possible? When I view the sites they appear to be be pretty low quality.  If i'm considering disavowing a site should I focus on spam score or DA? A DA of 75 is a pretty reputable standing.

I can't tell you which one to focus on, but I would say be careful about spam score. I have a link from a site that has a high spam score, but I know the site is legit. They do several hundred million dollars per year and have been around decades, but for whatever reason Moz thinks they are spam.

Thank you so much for this answer Tyler. I have a bunch of tumblr blogs and one has a spam score of 9.  It looks like the reason for the spam score is that it reblogs one post from a very legit blog with a spam score of 8. That blog is written by the type of guy who headlines social media conferences, so I certainly wouldn't want to disavow him.
