Should I connect my GA account to SEMRush?

Forgive me for being a skeptic but are there any downsides to connecting my data to SEMRush?

At the moment a lot of their data is averaged / guessed? e.g ad spend etc but once I connect my accounts they will have more accurate figures to show my competitors and this worries me.

The question is, should I be worried by this?

Thanks for asking. But, there's no need to worry! SEMrush will not share your data anyone, especially your competitors. That wouldn't be right. All of our traffic and ad spend figures are derived from publicly available sources or arrive to us from a trusted third-party. I hope this has been helpful.
