Should social widgets be the kind that shares/likes a page, or the kind that adds followers to a brand social page?

I'm wondering if the social widgets on my blog should create a share/like referencing the page or should the social widget create a follower to my brands page on a particular social network?
Any ideas?

Have the blog posts share/like the post. I personally would never follow all the Twitter accounts from pages I have Tweeted. I'll expand on Francisco's answer. Individual blog posts should be able to be liked / shared as a stand-alone quality piece of content. However you should also offer a site-wide social like/follow method in the header or sidebar, separate from individual post sharing methods. This allows for maximum conversion opportunities most appropriate to a site visitor's intent.
