Sitelinks to internal pages
-
Hi Moz Community,
Is it only possible to get sitelinks to your main domain in the SERPs or can you also get them to internal pages in the SERPs?
i.e. if this were to pop up in the SERP: www.mysite.com/page1
Can I get sitelinks such as the examples below:
Sitelink1: www.mysite.com/page1/page1a
Sitelink2: www.mysite.com/page1/page1b
Sitelink3: www.mysite.com/page1/page1c
etc.Just curious and I haven't really find anything like that on the internet. How can I set them up?
Thanks.

Hi there.
What do you mean by
Can I get sitelinks such as the examples below

Hello again Dmitrii,
Sorry. What I meant was we have sitelinks set up for our homepage in Google's SERPs, or they are appearing, I don't even really remember if we did anything specific to get them to appear in the SERPs.
What I am asking is if there is a such thing as sitelinks for subdirectories or are they only possible for the homepage of a given website. Like if some sort of subdirectory got an impression in a SERP, like the example given in my first post, is it possible for sitelinks to come with it? And if it is possible, is there something I can do in the coding to make that happen or does Google just decide to do it on its own? Maybe there is a way to influence that happening?
Basically, I want to be able to set up sitelinks for the SERPs for some of the subdirectories of our website, but I am not sure if that is possible or if it is possible for sitelinks to show up in the SERPs for subdirectories at all.
Hopefully that is more clear

So, as far as I understand, you are asking if it's possible for non-index page of the website to rank in Google - yes. Just look at what come up here http://bfy.tw/o8s

No. I am obviously not explaining myself. I will let the image do that for me. Then you will understand what I mean by getting sitelinks in a SERP for subdirectories.

Ok, now I get it

Basically, it requires some schema mark up and a little extra work. However, don't expect it to work immediately. It will take time - up to couple months.
