Does anyone know of a tool (paid and free) that allows you to collect all comments made about a specific brand/business across social media, blogs and online news? Many of our clients are wanting 'insights' on their brand/business and would like people's views, as expressed via social media, blogs and online news to inform this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Mention is a good one. Also try setting up some Google Alerts or try out Moz's Fresh web explorer, I would imagine a mix of all three would give you the broadest reach and hopefully cover off the majority of brand related comments etc.

On the free side, I get a lot of mileage out of combining TalkWalker and SocialMention alerts. Grab the RSS feeds for each, throw into a reader like Feedly to track in a single tool.
