If you are geo-targeting the whole domain to Spain in Google Webmasters Tools this will not help you much. There may be a tiny ranking boost for this but you could also go the other way and see your rankings drop.

I would leave it out and only do your country targeting in Webmasters Tools. Or use a dedicated .es domain

Adding geography in the url might help - but probably not the way you're trying to do it. My guess is that most people will not look for "audit service spain" but rather on a more detailed level (like 'audit service Barcelona'). Agree with Matt that country targeting is a much better way to target English speakers based in Spain.

Just a small note. Not sure if you gave these url's just as an example, but you might want to double check them with a native speaker - "bookkeping" is written like this: "bookkeeping" (same applies for the texts on your website)

          rgds,

          Dirk

              Hi Jennifer,

Ranking factors remain valid - the remark of Matt was rather on the fact that for targeting a country better methods exist that just adding the country in the url.

If you already have done that, and try to capture search queries of type 'bookkeeping Spain' - adding the keyword Spain to the url/title/H1 will help.

              Hope this clarifies,

              Dirk
