Keyword Research Tool That Returns Common Questions Based on Selected Keyword
-
Need a fast answer here. I remember two years ago I came across a tool that would provide a list of common questions people asked based around a selected keyword. Anyone know what that tool was called? I have a special content project and aside from using Google Instant, having that tool I mentioned would be most helpful. Thanks!

You might be able to get at this with wild card searches. For example, if you add ***** in the key place of the question, "How do I * a car?" Google Suggest will give some of the most common questions asked in this format. So if your focus is narrow enough this should work. If you're looking for really broad things you might want to run a search like: zoo site:answers.yahoo.com. That way you'll see several formats of questions around the given topic. Cheers!

I would try keywordtool.io - it's my go-to free tool for finding related keyword search terms. Simply plug-in a keyword into the tool and it will spit back a list categorized alphabetically. You are than able to copy the data into excel, and sort. Do this process a few times with various keyword variations and I'm sure you'll come across some good questions!

Here is an article from backlinko that mentions something called the SEO Search Terms Tagging plugin, which sounds a bit like what you are looking for. The plugin was last updated over two years ago, but it sounds like you are looking for something from then.
My suspicion is that the plugin has not been updated for so long because of Google's (not provided) and is therefore probably not that useful. But the article also mentions a few other ideas [like checking out Google's "searches related to" at the bottom of the search results].

I would also suggest Ubersuggest with wildcards.
How * money *
Why * car *
Whatever your questions are - you can just wildcard some stuff in there. I like "How does * make money?"
The tool you're likely talking about was Keyword Questions by WordTracker. That's been rolled into the main tool:
Hope that helps!

You should check out Moz's Keyword Research Tool. We offer an easy to use filter for "Display keyword suggestions that are questions". Hope that helps?
