I just signed up for MOZ and I see that the latest update was jan. 27th 2015 and I just started with my SEO firm in feb 2015.  I don't see any results but I am trying to track my competition and see how I fare thus far.  Where should I start?

The first step is to visit your Pro Home Page. Then you will need to add a new campaign for your website. Within this campaign you can specify your competitors' sites for tracking purposes. Moz will do a partial crawl of your site to get you up and running and then a full crawl within a week. At that point you should start receiving weekly status updates about your site.
