Hi, I'm having trouble selecting the correct GA account from the list shown in Campaign Settings. We have lots and lots of accounts (we are analytics consultants) and they appear unsorted and unsearchable. I can't find the one I want! Any ideas? (other than scrolling through hundreds of accounts -- still can't find it)

        Hi Rod

The best way to find your GA profile is to make sure you have the website name, property name, and profile name labeled as the URL of the site which can help finding profiles easily. If you see "ALL WEBSITE DATA" this is a default name to an unnamed profile in Google Analytics.

        Hope this helps!

Still have the problem all these months later. It seems a random selection of our accessible GA accounts are shown in the dropdown. The account I'm looking for is not one of them. It would be great if you could make the list alphabetical, or searchable. I scroll through and through and through and the one I'm looking for is still not there. When I switch tabs to GA, there it is, right next to some that show up in the dropdown. It's very infuriating.

            Hi Rod

If you are tracking more than 25 profiles in a single account, Google will not be able to send us all of the profiles as their token limit is 25. You may need to move the profile to a separate account that has less than 25 profiles. I will put in a request to see if we can sort the imported profiles to be better organized in our next feedback meeting. Google's API has some limitations on how they send us data when authenticating so I cannot guarantee we will be able to deploy any quick changes.

Thanks David. Just to clarify, by 'profiles' do you mean views in each GA account, or GA accounts that my Google Account has permissions for? We have a lot of both, of course. We use the Google API for a number of things, but this problem doesn't seem to arise in other areas.

No problem! The limit will refer to any profile associated with a tracking Code.

So in GA you have one primary email account and you can have up to 100 profiles, but for connecting GA profile to 3rd party services, they have a 25 token limit.

"There is currently a 25-token limit per Google user account. If a user account has 25 valid tokens, the next authentication request succeeds, but quietly invalidates the oldest outstanding token without any user-visible warning.

If you need to authorize multiple programs, machines, or devices, one workaround is to limit the number of clients that you authorize per user account to 15 or 20. If you are a Google Apps admin, you can create additional admin users and use them to authorize some of the clients."

                The above is from: https://developers.google.com/accounts/docs/OAuth2

So far exceeding the limit is what we have isolated for profiles not appearing when authorized.
