Realtors SEO and Active Rain
-
Does anyone know if active rain social network for realtors pass any link juice through the attached blogs features? They have both a free and paid service.
Does anyone have any insight on this?

Also, while the links do not count for SEO value towards your website because they are marked as nofollow, which essentially tells search engines to ignore them, you should still add links to your website to both the Website field and within your About Me text using the link button. Even if search engines ignore those links, visitors are still likely to click on them.
Found that here: http://realtybiznews.com/optimizing-your-activerain-profile/9876834/
That is from the profile itself, but I am assuming the same goes for the blogs. I still think it is a good network for realtors, and no-follow links still have some value as they add to your natural looking link profile, as well as can potentially be clicked for traffic.

HI Joel,
I'm looking at a blog post now on the site - http://activerain.com/blogsview/3275081/the-true-cost-of-collecting- - it's links are followed - you can use the mozbar to check/highlight followed and nofollow links. The links on this page are certainly followed and passing link equity.
That being said, blog here for the exposure to the readership and potential clientele, in addition to the brand exposure. Don't just do it for SEO purposes, but contribute value to the community - your returns will be greater in the long run with this mentality!
