Here is exactly what you should do:

2. Go live here: Learn SEO  
3. Take in Webinars: Watch Webinars
4. Sign up to receive RSS alerts whenever a new YouMoz or MozBlog posts come out.
5. Start tracking your keywords in the Rank Tracker.
6. Monitor and view competitor links utilizing Open Site Explorer.
7. Let Moz analyze your site and take action where recommendations provide helpful.
8. Post specific questions here in Q & A and get very good recommendations from the community.

It's nice to think you will have a plan/strategy you can just stumble into. However, that's far from reality. You can't. Each industry, each business, each person is different. You need to do what you are best at & what works best for your specific business or client. It may be curating content for social audiences, it may be forums, perhaps content network advertising is your thing, or, it's good ol' fashioned SEO.

Well, first off I would say that SeoMoz won't help you build traffic to your website, but it will help you gain the knowledge that you need to build traffic to your website.

If you're new to SeoMoz here are a few tips:

• Participate in the Q and A's, which it looks like you're already doing.
• Be sure to read the blog and YouMoz  Blog regularly.  Always come back for the WhiteBoard Friday vlog(on Fridays), as I find them very useful.
• Check out the SEOMoz tools, those will give you plenty of help on link building that will help your website rank better.  A few tools I like in particular are Open Site Explorer, which shows a website's back link portfolio, their keyword analysis tool which shows how competitive a keyword can be and as a social media lover I like the new Follower Wonk
