What are some good reputation management tools?
-
I'm trying to get a handle on what the best tools are for reputation management.
The main areas that I'm looking to monitor are:
- Review sites and directories
- Social media
- Web in general (think Google Alerts on steroids)
Have any of you found some good tools for tracking this stuff? Or tools that are particular good at tracking one of these areas?
I've seen a couple like mention.com and sprout social that have decent apps for managing this stuff on the go, which is definitely a plus.
Thanks in advance!

This is still an area where I feel that no tool can cover things in their entirety.
My core tools for this area:
- Google Searches - advanced queries, results filtered to past week or 24 hours
- Mention.net
- Moz Fresh Web Explorer

Google Analytics is much more powerful that most people realise.
I suggest a course, I've just taken one with iVantage in London, Great recommended company for my UK Mozzers. Clients came on the course from all over Europe!
You can track a host of things and now with Universal Analytics it's getting even more powerful.

To ensure you've registered and created a good presence throughout social media for your brand names / terms, check out Knowem. Run by Michael Streko out of New Jersey, been around for five or so years now. There are a bunch of different options / packages you can sign up for.
It's not 100% reputation management in the traditional sense but they do a lot of brand protection and monitoring that most definitely falls into that category. The enterprise package might be what you're looking for.
