Tools to check IP address of websites

i want to check the IP's of several websites. Is their any good website or tool that can help me. Make this faster?

When you check the IP address of a domain, you may want to also to see the other websites that are hosted on that same server. MajesticSEO has a tool called the "neighborhood checker" that allows you to do that: https://www.majesticseo.com/reports/neighbourhood-checker

These responses are both good - another way to see all the sites on one IP is to place the IP into Bing when you have it, e.g. http://www.bing.com/search?q=ip%3A69.163.214.222&go=&qs=n&form=QBLH&filt=all&pq=ip%3A69.163.214.222&sc=0-3&sp=-1&sk=&cvid=76bc8b65b66043eea4e8d25ec27636bb

For looking up one site's IP, there are a ton of sites like https://www.site24x7.com/find-ip-address-of-web-site.html that will do this quickly.

To answer your specific question, Christopher, the easiest and fastest way to look up the IP address of a few websites is to use a simple tool that's built into your computer's operating system.

It's called the Ping tool. In Windows, just hold down the Windows key** and the letter "R" at the same time. In the resulting Run box, type CMD and then hit Enter. In the black command window that shows up, type "ping www.websitename.com" but without the quotation marks.

It'll then print out the results showing teh IP address. The first line will state **pinging www.websitename.com [aaa.bbb.ccc.ddd] with 32 bytes of data: **The number in the square brackets will be the IP address of the website you're looking for. To look up another one, just type the same ping newwebsitename.com command at the flashing cursor. Quick and simple.

To do the same thing on Mac, you can type the same ping command into the Terminal, or there's an application called Network Utility in your Utilities folder that has a tab for Ping where you type the domain name you want to look up.

I find this method far quicker than doing it through web pages. It doesn't, however give you the other sites at the same IP as some of the web-based tools do.

There are no sites that I'd recommend above others to be honest - they're all very easy to find using a search like [find site ip].
