How to mass noindex Wordpress posts?

Are you sure these posts aren't duplicates of eachother? If you aren't careful with Wordpress it's quite easy to end up with content duplicated through categories, tags, archives and the such. Investigate this first because that would be more indicative of a Panda penalty. Simply having 800 posts doesn't earn you a penalty necessarily. You can have a huge site, there's nothing wrong with that. It's duplicated content clogging up the web that the Panda is targeting.
Use the Yoast plugin either way. It should help you with much of this..

Are you using any SEO plugin? A plugin like Yoast's Wordpress SEO like Jesse said will help with this

Hello,
As Jesse and Vadim already mentioned about using a great wordpress plugin like "Wordpress SEO by Yoast". You can simply install like any other Wordpress plugin and configure it.
Also check this great post: http://moz.com/blog/setup-wordpress-for-seo-success for better understanding. You can noindex both categories and tags and only allow indexing of your posts.
And if you want to nofollow, noindex external links you can install a Wordpress plugin like "SEO Smart Link".
Google algo like Panda generally targeting duplicate content issue, which can be resolved by Yoast SEO plugin.

I noindex subpages of archives and noindex tags etc. I already cleaned up duplicate content and Google Webmasters says there are no necessary HTML improvements now.

Yes I am using Wordpress SEO. I already noindex subpages etc but I need to noindex individual blog posts that are probably considered thin content. Doing it one by one is going to take a long time so I am wondering how I can mass noindex 50 individual blog posts.

I have been using Yoast SEO from the start and it hasn't helped. I already noindex subpages and tags etc. I am talking about individual posts that I am concerned are considered thin content from when I first started the blog. I cleaned up duplicate content found in Google Webmasters as well as crawl errors. My rankings keep getting worse despite a lot of quality back-links and more readers. I keep improving my site and my growth is going well but Google keeps pushing me down and I don't understand why.
