Rel=publisher
-
I've had the rel=publisher set up correctly for months now and verified it using the Google rich snippet tool.
For some reason when I search my site/brand the Google+ profile will not show? Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I can do to have it show up?
Thanks!

When you go to your G+ page, does the verified icon appear on the right of the URL?
G+ pages rank within SERPs just like any page, if your G+ page has no authority, backlinks or whatever Google uses to rank, then it won't show up. Have you tried searching "brand name google plus"?

AFAIK Google is not using rel="publisher" often as a signal in the SERPs, and doesn't seem to use that (yet) to display in SERPs. You should use your G+ profile for this with rel="author", if you wish to benefit from that increased CTR in the SERPs, and switch to publisher at a later time when Google shows clear signals of using this in the SERPs.
Hope this helps,

Morning,
Yes it is showing as a verified page on my Google Plus account. Should I be using both re=Publisher & rel=Author?. It is an ecommerce site, we do however have a blog that I could set up a personal profile for the posts and rel=author it?
Would it be an issue if I did both pointing to the Google Plus business page?
Thank You!
