Answer looks to be here
http://jensontaylor.blogspot.com/2012/03/blogger-changes-top-level-domain-names.html
"The reason my blog url is ending in .co.uk is because I access my blog from UK. If you access my blog from another country you should see the extension of that country, appended to my blog. So if you access my blog from Australia you should see my blog address as jensontaylor.blogspot.com.au"
"The reason behind the change in the top level domain names is to accommodate Google with the facility to censor blogs based on country of access."

Yes I agree to that, but the I access it from Pakistan and all blogs open with .Com (,they always have). And we didn't change our location neither me, nor my friend.
1. We didn't use and IP changer while viewing and creating the blog
2. We didn't actually move. it just changed, that's confusing

The TLD doesn't matter! You can see your blog under any TLD blogspot has.
I accessed the .com version, .co.uk, .com.au and all others show the same content.

I'm not worried about the TLD, I'm just wondering why did the default URL got changed?

While I am not really able to answer to your question (and my answer should be the same given by CleverPhD), if I was your friend I would be more worried in finishing fixing the site, that still has so many things to solve even in the design, than in the fact that the default URL got changed.
Said that, it seems that the issue has been solved addressing the whizmovies.com domain name to the blogspot

I'd be worried about all of that too, if I was the owner of the site
but I'm not
