E-mail change requires unknown file type download?
-
I'm trying to change the e-mail address that notifications get sent to.
Two questions:
-
When I go to change the e-mail address I get a popup to download a file named "update" but with no file type. I don't want to download and save a file simply to change my e-mail address.
-
Can I have one e-mail address for login and one for notifications? For instance, I want to use a team distribution e-mail for my team to login, but I only want notifications to come to me. Is that possible?
Thanks -

Hi there!
Thanks for reaching out to us. I am sorry you are having a hard time in resetting your password
In terms of how to accomplish that. You would just have to do the following:- Log into your account and head to your "Billing and Subscriptions" page or https://moz.com/users/auth
- From there click on "Login Settings"
- At that pint you should see your current email for your account, simply press the "Edit" button to start changing your email address http://screencast.com/t/shrj5tGb
In terms of having separate emails to handle different aspects of the account, this is a feature that we don't have at the moment. However we are looking into providing multi-seat to our customers that should address this problem, that feature is being release at the start of Moz Analytics which we are putting out in the next 30-60 days.
Hope that helps, please let me know if you have any more questions!

Thanks for the follow up, however, when I go to change my e-mail address this is the security risk screen that I get when I go to save the edited e-mail: http://screencast.com/t/wNGbhEpxKa. Do you know what is causing this?
