Social media unclarities

Dear community,
I've tried to find the answer in the Q&A but without any succes.
www.facebook.com/onlinedesignmeubel.nl is our facebook page for our webshop. We have 563 likes, but in opensiteexplorer we only have 1 FB like. It is most likely an easy question, but i couldn't find the answer.
My question is how the opensiteexplorer only found 1 like? How does this work exactly?
Best regards,
Martin

Hi Martin
The likes in open site explorer show the likes for the root domain, rather than your Facebook page. Therefore, your open site explorer total will only increase if people like that URL. There are a few plugins, such as DiggDigg that can give your users a quick way to do this.
So in short, Open Site Explorer doesn't count Facebook page likes - it counts the actual likes on the URL.
Hope this helps.

Thank you for your responce. Can you stimulate people on clicking on it? Or do they have to do it vai the website? I will try it out anyway, to see if it works.
