Images not getting indexed in Google

I think you're doing it right.  What makes you think your images aren't indexed?

I looked for this image in Google Reverse Image Search and it found it (and, no other copies, which is good):

I also find it if I do a regular image search for "Estimate Pads 237" which of course is part of your caption.

I am seeing in webmaster tools that our images are not being indexed.

OK, I know what you're talking about now.  I've seen the same thing happen, where images DO appear to be indexed but WMT in the image sitemap file graph & counts look like it's not.

My conclusion:  GWT is buggered up there :-).  Really, though, I think it may just be a matter of time, certain processes that have to run, etc.

When I last saw this happen on one of my own sites, it showed nearly no images from my sitemap indexed for quite some time...a month or two, I think.  Now, it shows (with no changes that I could think of to affect this on-site) 1336 out of 1471 of the images in my sitemap indexed.

That's a really, really long time.  I think something else is wrong.

It's not your robots.txt, I checked that.

Your sitemap file looked good to me.

Morris, I did some Googling and found quite a number of people who were using an app or CMS called Presta (something) that had an image sitemap generator.  This makes me think that a little issue in the sitemap could cause this problem.

Compare your image sitemap to mine and see if you can see anything different, missing tags, etc.:
